J. Stout Government Auctions was formed as a division of J. Stout Auctions when it became clear government agencies needed a proven professional resource to help them sell their used or excess equipment as opposed to spending extra time and money trying to accomplish the process themselves.

We take the work out of the asset disposal process, from picking up all equipment to deidentifying, detailing, and marketing pieces, to providing the proper paperwork back to the agency after the item is sold.

With two convenient locations, we’re headquartered in the Portland-Metro area with a second facility in Spokane, Washington.

• Buy It Now – Retail sale where a customer consigns equipment and buyers have the option to purchase on the spot.
• Timed Online Auction – Online-only auction allows inventory to be sold to the public via our website. Equipment is viewed and bid within a set period.
• Live Auction – Traditional public auction setting with an online bidding component. Bidders can be a part of the live auction excitement in person or via the web.
• Live Online-Only Auction – Virtual live public auction with all bidders registering and bidding online. Bidders can be part of the live auction excitement via the web.
